ENGINEERING STARTS WITH YOUR PRODUCT

Every part has a shape.
Every process has a solution.

We configure Makser thermoforming machines around the part you want to produce. Sheet size, material, mould depth and output targets guide the choice of working area, heating arrangement and automation.

01

Heating suited to your material

A heating arrangement planned around the sheet material and mould geometry.

02

Configured for your product

Working area, mould movement and automation options defined around your application.

03

Support throughout production

Makser support from machine selection, installation and operator training to technical service and spare parts.

APPLICATIONS

One sheet.
Many possibilities.

Vacuum thermoforming for technical components, functional surfaces and new product designs.

ABS · HIPS / PS · PET-G · PVC · PMMA

Material suitability is assessed alongside sheet grade, thickness, mould geometry and sample trials.

Automotive

Interior trim components, protective trays and plastic covers.

Machinery and equipment

Technical enclosures, covers and moulded body components.

Kitchen and furniture

Drawer inserts, cutlery trays and plastic organisers.

Luggage and transport

Hard-shell luggage parts and protective transport components.

Industrial trays

Trays for carrying, positioning and organising parts.

Product development

New mould designs, prototypes and sample production.

THE FORMING PROCESS

Heat. Form. Produce.

01

Prepare

Position the mould, load the sheet into the frame and secure it.

02

Heat

Bring the sheet to the forming conditions required by the material.

03

Vacuum form

Draw the softened sheet against the mould to create the part geometry.

04

Cool

Cool the part, release it from the mould and prepare it for finishing.

Edge cutting, drilling, trimming and assembly are planned as subsequent operations to suit the product design.

CONFIGURED FOR YOUR APPLICATION

Build the right setup for your production.

The right choice starts with your product. Together, we define the technical scope around your material, part and output targets.

Working area

Selected according to sheet dimensions, mould height and part geometry.

Heating system

Project options include zoned heating, SSR control and lower heating.

Forming and movement

Vacuum, pre-stretching and lifting arrangements are assessed for the application.

Automation

Loading, cycle control and production line integration are planned to suit your needs.

These are project configuration options; they are not all included as standard equipment.

QUICK ANSWERS

Your questions, answered.

How is thermoforming different from PVC foil lamination?

Thermoforming heats a plastic sheet, shapes it against a mould and releases the formed part. PVC foil lamination bonds a decorative film to a prepared MDF surface using a suitable adhesive system.

What sheet thicknesses can be processed?

There is no single thickness range for every application. Material grade, sheet thickness, mould depth and part geometry are assessed together, with suitable parameters established through sample trials.

How is daily output determined?

Heating and cooling time, mould layout, parts per cycle and loading time are considered together. Output is planned using a cycle study for the target product.

What do you need to prepare a quotation?

A product image or technical drawing, sheet material and thickness, sheet dimensions, mould height and your target daily output provide a useful starting point.
