Vacuum Membrane Press WP1 OTM

MAKSERTEAM · WP1 OTM
One table.Vertical movement.Built for your workflow.
The WP1 vacuum membrane press combines a single worktable with a vertically moving heating unit for PVC foil lamination.
What can the WP1 vacuum membrane press do?
WP1 applies PVC foil to MDF surfaces. The optional silicone membrane also enables natural wood veneering and wood bending.
Applications include kitchen and bathroom cabinet doors, door faces and decorative panels. Machine selection should consider part dimensions, mould height and production workflow.
What are the main features of WP1?
WP1 combines a single worktable, vertical heating unit movement and equipment selected for the intended application.

Vertically Moving Heating Unit
The heating unit moves up and down using pneumatic cylinders with body size 80. A rack-and-pinion system maintains straight vertical travel.

Single Worktable
Loading, pressing and unloading take place on one worktable. Production planning depends on part dimensions and preparation time.

Water-Cooled Vacuum Pump
WP1 uses a water-cooled vacuum pump rated at 160 m³/h. Pump selection and application requirements are reviewed when preparing your quotation.

Infrared Temperature Measurement
An infrared sensor measures the material surface temperature. Heating settings depend on foil type, thickness and application conditions.

Delta PLC and Freestanding Panel
The Delta PLC control system uses a separate freestanding touchscreen operator panel beside the WP1. Validate settings for new materials through sample trials.

Optional Silicone Membrane
The optional silicone membrane system enables natural wood veneering and wood bending. The mould, adhesive and layer arrangement are selected for each application.
Pump, sensor and membrane photographs are illustrative images from the Makser product range. Supplied equipment and appearance may vary with the selected configuration.
How can MakserTeam help you choose a WP1?

What do customers ask about WP1?
Table arrangement, heating unit movement and the silicone membrane option are key points to clarify when choosing a WP1.
Does the WP1 vacuum membrane press have a single table?
Yes. WP1 has one worktable for loading, pressing and unloading.
Does the WP1 heating unit move sideways?
No. The heating unit moves vertically using pneumatic cylinders with body size 80. A rack-and-pinion system maintains straight travel.
Is a silicone membrane required for PVC foil lamination?
No. A silicone membrane is not required for standard PVC foil lamination. Equipment selection depends on the intended application.
Can WP1 be used for natural wood veneering and wood bending?
Yes. These applications are possible with the silicone membrane system. Adhesive, mould, layer arrangement and part dimensions should be evaluated together.
Can WP1 accommodate every tall mould?
It depends. Mould height and part geometry must fit the available working clearance. Suitability is determined through a technical assessment.
Can a fixed daily cabinet door output be specified for WP1?
No. Daily output depends on part dimensions, loading arrangement, material and preparation time. Capacity should be assessed using your actual products.
Do WP1, WP2 and WP4 have the same table arrangement?
No. WP1 has one table and a vertically moving heating unit. WP2 has two tables and WP4 has three, with sideways heating unit movement.
Can WP1 be manufactured with custom dimensions?
Yes. Working area and dimensions can be adapted to customer requirements following a technical assessment.
How are machine dimensions and layout determined?
The working area is selected by considering part dimensions and mould height together. Allow space around the machine for loading and service access.
Dimensions may vary by project. For layout advice and a technical drawing, send MakserTeam your largest part dimensions and available floor space.
