PVC and PET foil lamination is one of the most common vacuum membrane press applications used for covering MDF, HDF and wood-based surfaces with decorative foil.

Natural wood veneer pressing is a special application preferred by manufacturers who want to give the surface a real wood texture and a premium appearance.

Natural wood veneer creates a high-quality perception in tables, coffee tables, decorative panels, office furniture, hotel furniture, luxury interior decoration and custom-designed furniture.

WP models with silicone membrane support and the Heat Shape Master model can be evaluated for this application depending on the product type and production requirements.

Wood Bending

Wood bending is used to shape thin wood layers or plywood materials over a mould into the desired form.

This method provides important advantages in the production of chair backs, chair seats, armchair side parts, curved furniture components and custom-designed products.

Wood bending can be carried out by adding a silicone membrane to WP1, WP2 and WP4 models. However, the WP1 model can be more advantageous for high mould applications thanks to its up-and-down moving heating turbine and higher working area.

ABS ve Plastik Vakum Şekillendirme

ABS and Plastic Vacuum Forming

ABS and plastic vacuum forming is the process of heating thermoplastic sheets and shaping them over a mould with the help of vacuum.

No silicone membrane is used in this application. Plastic sheets such as ABS, PMMA, PET-G, PVC, PS and PP can be used in the production of automotive parts, technical plastic products, suitcase parts, drawer organizers, underfloor heating panels and prototypes.

PVC, WPC and ABS Door Surface Thermoform Forming

PVC, WPC and ABS door surface thermoform forming is the process of shaping sheet materials used in interior door production over a mould with heat and vacuum technology.

No silicone membrane is used in this application. The forming process is carried out directly with heat, mould and vacuum system. The Makser DoorFormer Thermoform Machine is positioned for serial door surface production.

Important Note for Machine Selection

For PVC and PET foil lamination applications, WP1, WP2, WP4 and Heat Shape Master models can be evaluated depending on the production method and material type. A silicone membrane is not mandatory for standard PVC/PET foil lamination. The correct model should be selected according to the application and the material to be used.

For natural wood veneer pressing and wood bending applications, WP1, WP2 and WP4 models can be used with the addition of a silicone membrane. However, since the heating turbine of the WP1 model moves up and down, it provides an advantage in working height. For this reason, WP1 can be more suitable for high mould or thicker wood bending applications.

For acrylic and solid surface forming applications, the Heat Shape Master model stands out due to the need for a lower oven. Heating the acrylic sheet at the correct temperature in a controlled way is critical for achieving high form quality.

No silicone membrane is used in ABS and plastic vacuum forming or PVC/WPC/ABS door surface thermoform applications. These applications are carried out directly with heat, mould and vacuum technology.
